The Assisted Areas Order 2014
Article 3 of this Order specifies that from 1st July 2014 the areas described in Schedule 1 as Tier 1 areas and the areas described in Schedule 2 as either predefined or non-predefined Tier 2 areas shall be development areas for the purposes of the Industrial Development Act 1982 (c.52) and section 1 of the Derelict Land Act 1982 (c.42).

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(1), (3), (4) and (7) of the Industrial Development Act 1982.
