The A1 Motorway (Leeming to Scotch Corner Connecting Roads) Scheme 2013
This Order is to re-introduce connecting routes required for the construction of the A1 Motorway on and off south facing slip roads at Scotch Corner to connect to the previously Made Scheme “The A1 Motorway (Dishforth to Barton Section and Connecting Roads) Scheme 2008”. These routes were removed from the Scheme in the Secretary of States’ Decision Letter (31st March 2008) following the 2006 Public Inquiry.

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Scheme in exercise of powers conferred by sections 16, 17 and 19 of the Highways Act 1980and now vested in him:
