This Order replaces the Companies Act 2006 (Extension of Takeover Panel Provisions) (Isle of Man) Order 2008 (S.I. 2008/3122: “the 2008 Order”), partly to reflect changes in responsibility for company registration on the Isle of Man and partly to deal with the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the European Union.
