This Order amends the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 (Alcohol Abstinence and Monitoring Requirements) Piloting Order 2014 (S.I. 2014/1777) which brings into force section 76 of the Legal Aid Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 (c. 10), only in relation to the South London local justice area, for a period of 12 months beginning with 31st July 2014. This Order extends the period of time for which section 76 is in force, in that area, by a period of 6 months.
