Correction Slip 1
These Regulations give effect in Great Britain to reciprocal arrangements between Great Britain and Northern Ireland relating to universal credit. The arrangements are made between the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, with the consent of the Treasury, of the one part and the Minister for Communities in Northern Ireland, with the consent of the Department of Finance, of the other part. These arrangements are contained in the Memorandum set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.

Enabling power
The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 87(4) and (6) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998and sections 189(1) and (4) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992.
