These Regulations make provision about inquiries caused to be held by the Welsh Ministers in relation to applications:for consent under section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 (“the 1989 Act” and such consent a “section 36 consent”) to construct, extend or operate an offshore generating station;under section 36C of the 1989 Act, to vary a section 36 consent.

The Welsh Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 36(8A), 36C(2) and (6) and 60 of the Electricity Act 1989, make the following Regulations:
