Constituency data: School funding in England
Find data for English constituencies on core (schools block) funding for mainstream schools.
This dashboard provides school-level data and constituency-level estimates for mainstream school funding in England.
Mainstream schools in England receive most of their funding via the schools block of the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG). The data in this dashboard relates to published schools block allocations to individual schools only

Notes
There have been changes over time to what is included in the schools block. Grants paid separately in one year are often then rolled into the main schools block in the subsequent year. As such, year-to-year increases may appear larger than they actually are. 2024-25 figures exclude the Core Schools Budget Grant and additional funding for teachers’ pay and employer pension contributions.
The data also excludes other grants which are always paid separately to schools and local authorities, such as pupil premium grant, sixth form and early years funding. It also excludes any funding from the high needs block (largely for complex special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) provision). See the separate Library dashboard on SEND incidence and funding for further information on this topic.
GDP deflators (used to adjust for inflation) have been smoothed across 2020-21 and 2021-22 to account for unusual pandemic-related movements in the deflator.
