This dashboard provides constituency-level data on pupils at state-funded schools that are eligible for and claiming means-tested free school meals in England.

The information reflects the location of the school not the location of pupils’ home address.

The data includes all pupils who are eligible to means-tested free school meals. A pupil is recorded in the school census as eligible for FSM if they meet the eligibility criteria and their parents make a claim.

In a small number of cases, a school has changed its name between the publication of free school meals and free breakfast club data. In these cases, the earlier name has been used.

Information is as recorded in the school census at January of each year.
