An inspection of contingency asylum accommodation: HMIP report on Penally Camp and Napier Barracks

The Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration (ICIBI) with the assistance of colleagues from Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Prisons (HMI Prisons) inspected the Home Office’s use of Penally Camp and Napier Barracks as contingency asylum accommodation. The inspection was conducted between November 2020 and March 2021.
