Please help lower the cost of car insurance for young people

Please do something as us young drivers are struggling especially people who don't come from a high earning background.16 year olds in USA are driving anything they like for a reasonable price whereas, in the UK,we have to pay insane amounts for a car which is embarrassing,small and very unpractical

Background

The car insurance market is going insane I'm paying £205 a month for a 2007 1 litre car (the cheapest car possible to insure) with a fully clean license and I've been driving since 17. Last year the quote was £169 a month nothing whatsoever has changed since and the cheapest quote i am getting is £205 please help us as i am just an innocent young lad who wants to drive something better but i cant because I'm in debt before the annual insurance ends☹️
