Working parents should be given 30 hours free childcare from 9 months in Wales
From September 2025, eligible working parents will be able to claim 30 hours of free childcare per week for their children from 9 months old. In Wales eligible working parents are only able to claim 30 hours from 3 years old. Wales need to be in line with England on childcare.
