Amend the Video Recordings Act 1984 to allow the sale of unclassified DVDs
I want the Video Recordings Act of 1984 to be either amended or significantly altered, to allow the sale of unclassified DVDs. As well as UK distributors being able to sell their products easier, it would also allow products from other countries, like the United States, to be sold in shops.

Background
Adults should be trusted to decide what is appropriate for their homes. High BBFC classification costs can burden small indie labels, often making niche releases unviable. Allowing unclassified sales would support small labels and increase choice. Since unrated content is easily found on the internet and streaming sites, we think current rules for physical DVDs are outdated. For adult films, sellers could perform due diligence by checking online databases before selling to minors.
