Want healthcare providers to listen to parents and take our concerns seriously.
Specifically, we are asking you to: 1. Acknowledge parental instincts as valid input in medical decisions. 2. Implement protocols to act promptly when a parent reports something is wrong with their child. 3. Ensure timely treatment so no baby suffers due to delayed care.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. There is already a right for patients, families and carers to request a rapid review if they are worried that a patient’s condition, including a child, is getting worse and their concerns are not being responded to. This is known as Martha's Rule: https://www.england.nhs.uk/patient-safety/marthas-rule/ We are not sure what changes you would like to see that are different from Martha's Rule, or from existing medical treatment. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
