Ban the sale of second-hand power tools online & at car boot sales
We believe tool theft is very common and not enough is being done to prevent thieves profiting from stolen tools. We urge the Government to ban the sale of second-hand power tools to reduce thieves benefiting and profiting. We believe this could reduce the number of vehicles broken into.

Background
Many trades are suffering from financial difficulty due to the loss of tools and costs to repair vans. Millions of pounds worth of tools were stolen in the UK last year.
