REFORM THE VOTING SYSTEM TO SINGLE-TRANSFERABLE-VOTE, INTRODUCE ‘THE 217’ and PR
Combine every three constituencies together to create a mega constituency. Use STV to elect 3 MPs for this mega-constituency. An example of this would be combining Hove and Portslade, Brighton Pavillion and Brighton, Kemptown and Peacehaven to form an mega-constituency electing three MP’s.

Background
This stops voters being forced to vote tactically meaning that they can vote for who they desire without knowing their vote will not count. It allows a more diverse selection of MP’s to be elected creating a parliament that is more representative of the public. It keeps local representation by allowing areas to have local representation while keeping the tradition of 650 seats in parliament. Isle of white could be combined to create a 2 MP mega-constituency.
