Stop creating too many medical specialities. Combined many specialities as one.
Combined Cardiology and Pulmonology as one speciality. Combined Neurology, Psychiatry and PM&R as one speciality. Combined OB-GYN, Urology, Andrology, and Nephrology as one speciality. Combined Intensive care medicine and Emergency medicine as one speciality. Etc, etc.

Background
Gastroenterology should treat the whole gastrointestinal tract esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum and anus as well as the pancreas, liver, bile ducts and gallbladder, as one speciality. Combined ENT and Ophthalmology as one speciality, but only as clinical speciality not surgical, basically same speciality but separate, into clinical and surgical. Etc etc.
