Background
The Government has a duty to protect young people and ensure equal access to education. Many LGBTQ+ and trans students face discrimination and feel unsafe coming out at school. Clear national guidance on inclusive education would help reduce bullying, improve mental wellbeing, and ensure all schools provide a supportive environment for every student.
