Background
The ongoing violence in eastern DRC, particularly in North Kivu and Ituri, has led to mass displacement, human rights abuses, and a worsening humanitarian crisis. The UK, as a key international partner to both Rwanda and the DRC, must take a stronger stance to support peace efforts, prevent further escalation, and hold all parties accountable. To review and suspend military aid and security assistance to Rwanda until it ceases support for armed groups in eastern DRC as evidenced by UN reports.
