The Government announced that BSL GCSE will be introduced from September 2025. Background
Many students feel they may not need foreign languages in their future or they don't enjoy it, however there are many deaf people in our community and this is why I and many others would like for BSL to be put on the curriculum as an alternative to foreign languages
