Increase funding for information on dangers of high blood pressure in pregnancy
Allocate more funding to information about the dangers of high blood pressure during pregnancy. Detailing every single symptom to look out for, and highlighting the dangers, which if missed can sadly lead to fatalities of both mother and child. Placental abruption due to high bp is serious!

For example, leaflets detailing all and every single symptom especially the dangers of high bp to be put in maternity packs for appointments. Posters detailing all and every single symptom especially the dangers of high bp in pregnancy be put in all maternity units across the uk. Placental abruption can be a cause of high bp which can cause the baby to have less oxygen and can also result in bleeding heavily which can be fatal for mother and baby. All women need to be made aware!
