Right to leave a phone contract without penalty due to price change by provider
Government has allowed phone service providers an annual price rise adjustment on customers’ monthly subscription charge by no more than the RPI or CPI +3.9%, only once every 12 months.

Phone contract is a 2-way contract. If the government thinks service providers can change the monthly charge, the subscribers should also have the right to exit the contract without penalty
