Review rules to protect voter freedom and ensure secure UK elections
We want the Government to set up a review of current electoral rules to ensure every vote is cast freely, securely & in secret. We believe it should strengthen polling station rules, tighten postal voting safeguards while keeping access for those who need it & review who should be eligible to vote.

Background
Concerns have been raised by election observers, courts, and regulators about undue influence, inconsistent polling station enforcement, and postal ballot vulnerabilities. We believe a review of who should be eligible to vote, including non-British citizens, alongside safeguards, staff guidance, transparency, and public awareness, will ensure every vote is cast freely, securely, and in secret.
