Review Landlords' Rights and Fair Balance in the Private Rental Sector
We call on the Government to introduce a faster, more efficient possession process where landlords have legitimate grounds for repossession, strengthen protections against late rent payments, rent arrears, and property damage, and ensure the courts resolve housing disputes promptly and fairly.

Background
We call on the UK Government to review the impact of the Renters' Rights Act 2025 and ensure tenancy laws remain fair for landlords. Recent legal changes created concerns about the ability of landlords to regain possession of their properties and manage financial risk.
We ask the Government for a faster, more effective possession process, quicker court claims, and timely recovery of properties where tenants repeatedly make late payments or fall into rent arrears.
