Background
Universities should provide clear recent information and statistics on graduate employment prospects, including the reality of finding work and where entry-level roles may require previous experience. Students may commit years, savings, family support or debt. Before doing so they should understand the full career route, what the degree does and does not qualify them to do, further steps required and realistic job prospects. This is not about guaranteeing jobs or discouraging university, but transparency and informed choice while students still have a genuine choice of degree and career route.
