Require schools to ringfence SPP and report how it helps service children.
Introduce rules so SPP (Service Pupil Premium) is used specifically for service children, tracked clearly, overseen by a designated lead in each school, and used to provide targeted support that helps them thrive during parental deployment and improve their wellbeing and learning outcomes.

Background
SPP is intended to support children of armed forces families, particularly during parental deployments and postings. Without ringfencing, the funding can be absorbed into general Pupil Premium, meaning children may not receive the targeted support they need. Clear rules on spending, tracking, and oversight would ensure that SPP actually improves the wellbeing, attendance, and learning outcomes of service children, giving families confidence that the funding is used as intended.
