We want the Government to change the law so large hotel chains must offer a minimum number of properly equipped accessible rooms for 1 or 2 guests at fair prices.

Background
Disabled people are too often told the only suitable room is a larger and more expensive, can't accommodate families or that they must travel much further to find a hotel with the equipment they need. Wide doors, and level floors alone do not provide real access.
The law should require large hotel chains to provide proper accessible rooms, clear accessibility information, and equipment such as hoists or hoist-ready rooms, electric profiling beds and tilt-in-space shower chairs where needed.
