Require food manufacturers to show the presence of Ultra Processed ingredients

A growing body of evidence suggests that ultra-processed foods are behind the modern increases in chronic health conditions, including alzheimers, cancer, obesity, diabetes and others. These conditions lead to many preventable deaths, the loss of quality of life for millions and costs the NHS millions every year. Requiring manufacturers to clearly indicate the presence of UPFs will empower the public to make healthy choices and could save many lives and significant amounts of public funding.
