Background
We believe a register could support risk management, improve information sharing, and help prevent further abuse.
As someone who has experienced domestic abuse in both my childhood and adulthood, and who knows many other women who have experienced it too, I feel strongly that there should be a register to help protect potential future partners from repeat offenders. I believe greater transparency and appropriate information sharing could help prevent further abuse and improve public safety.
