We call on Parliament to require clear health warnings on AI tools marketed as companions or thinking aids. These systems are deliberately designed to appear friendly and encourage daily use, but vulnerable individuals may mistake artificial responses for genuine care.

Background
Just as cigarettes, alcohol, and gambling carry warnings, AI tools should disclose their artificiality and risks of dependency. We believe regulation is needed to protect public health and ensure ethical design.
