Prevent MPs under investigation from Resigning from The House of Commons

An MP wishing to resign their seat applies to the Chancellor of the Exchequer to be appointed to be the Crown Steward of the Chiltern Hundreds or similar. We ask that the Chancellor should refuse to make such an appointment if the MP is under active investigation by parliamentary standards bodies
