Background

•	Loss of Green Space: one of the few remaining natural areas in Aldridge that offers a haven for wildlife and a peaceful space for residents.
	•	Increased Traffic and Congestion: The local roads are already heavily used. Additional housing would put further strain on an already congested road network.
	•	Pressure on Local Services: Local schools, GP surgeries, and emergency services are already overstretched and cannot sustain a large influx of new residents.
	•	Flooding and Drainage Concerns: The land in question may not be suitable for large-scale development due to water runoff and potential flood risk.
