Student loans should be made interest free.
Stop all interest payments on student loans we paid for the education they were happy to lend us the money. Increase the starting earnings repayment threshold annually. Reduce repayment from 9% to 5% over threshold Reverse the threshold freeze Ensure repayments actually reduce the debt

Background
Graduates in the UK have signed student finance contracts. The Government have retrospectively changed the terms of these contracts. This is unfair for graduates who have sought higher education.
Private loan providers may face challenges if they did this.
People who attended university or other higher education who hope to improve their outcomes and earning potential are having any improved income taken away by what can be seen as a "Graduate Tax" which is not the purpose of the loan.
