Provide free school meals for every primary school child in the UK
England continues to hold back universal support only to those up to year two or on benefits. Considering all the advantages of receiving a nutritional meal, universal free school meals should be rolled out to all primary school children in the UK

Background
Food Poverty can have a serious impact on a child’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development which can negatively affect their future lives. Nutritional food is critical to a child's holistic development. Food insecurity is causing serious health issues for children and also placing strain on the NHS both now and throughout their life, therefore by providing a child with a nutritional meal can prevent long term health issues.
