Make It Law: Donors Have the Right to Know Where Their Charity Money Goes
We give £5, £10, or £50 believing our money is helping someone in need — feeding families, supporting the homeless etc. But most donors never actually know where their money goes. How much reaches the cause? How much goes to administration? How much is spent on salaries and marketing?

Guidance from the Charity Commission states that charities are required to produce an annual report, a set of accounts and submit an annual return to the Charity Commission.
