Don't let schools make religious studies compulsory for GCSEs

I would like the government to stop schools making RS compulsory for GCSE as many students are bad at it and do not want to do it. Many students would like to have a free period for revision and homework or another lesson of a subject like maths or English so they can secure a pass.
