RAISE THE TAX THRESHOLD to 20k instead of Measly pennies raising minimum wage !
Because the tax threshold is still too low, this 'payrise' means nothing. So basically government get more money back in tax, by giving everyone a payrise. Businesses suffer, the people dont gain because everything else has gone up in price more.....but the government gain.

I love this, labour increases minimum wage,
Businesses pay the increase, people earn more but have to pay more in tax, because the tax threshold is still too low.
So basically government get more money back in tax, by giving everyone a payrise.
Businesses suffer, the people dont gain because everything else has gone up in price more.....but the government gain
And then they make out they have done it for the people. Just RAISE the tax threshold to 20k!
