Background
Because local councils are setting different rules for council tax support like Leicester City Council. From April 2025 they are including Pip awards has income this has meant some peoples tax bills have increased by up to 80% this is on top of the 20% that Leicester City council residents had to pay already even if they where on mean tested benefits it's so unfair that the most vulnerable people are being targeted. So the councils can try and claw back money they have wasted over the years.
