Background
Compulsory annual PSHE lessons on mental health would give teens the coping skills, resilience, and awareness they need to face challenges with confidence and clarity. Making this part of the national curriculum could break stigma, normalise open conversations, and ensure equal access in every school. With proper training and resources, teachers can empower students to manage stress, support one another, and build lifelong habits that improve wellbeing and create healthier school communities.
