Increase the UK inheritance tax gift allowance in line with the US
We call on the UK Government to reform the current inheritance tax gift rules (where only £3,000 is exempt each tax year before the seven-year rule applies)

Background
So that UK residents can give larger lifetime gifts without inheritance tax implications — aligned more closely with the US annual exclusion of ~$19,000 per recipient. We believe this would help families support loved ones during their lives and modernise UK tax policy.
