Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We understand that you are concerned about accusations of racism by MPs, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

Background
When such language is used without evidence, it risks fuelling division, inciting hostility and puts individuals and communities at heightened risk of harm. It also undermines public trust in elected representatives and brings Parliament into disrepute.
Those in positions of authority should be held to the highest standards of integrity and responsibility. Parliament should debate whether reckless public accusations of racism are compatible with the standards expected of MPs.
