Background
Artificial General Super Intelligence poses an existential threat to humanity. We cannot align its objectives with ours, yet it could surpass human intelligence and embed itself in countless global systems. A single flawed implementation could destabilize health, finance, defense, and the economy. Once created, errors are irreversible. We are in a race to the bottom—Parliament should debate forming an international coalition to halt its development.
