Legislate against MPs receiving public funds if convicted

We want the Government to legislate against MPs accessing or receiving public funds while serving any type of sentence, suspended or custodial, as we think this would bring their office into disrepute. We feel that on moral standing, this rule is incompatible with the Public's expectations.
