Immediately tighten immigration requirements
Require all new & existing visa holders including BNO visas, applicants & dependants to: Live 10 yrs in the UK to apply for ILR; Pay NHS & state school fees; Earn £40k pa + £20k for each non-working dependant; Be professional; Work 3 yrs with ILR in the UK to apply for citizenship; Meet Eng level C1

Background
It's estimated around 1.294m, 1.326m and 948k migrants entered the UK in the years to Dec 2022, Dec 2023, and Dec 2024. I think visas and immigration rules aren’t strict enough, and that what I see as mass, uncontrolled immigration has put huge strains on current living issues, education, healthcare, housing and public services. I also think those who I feel haven’t paid enough UK tax or contributed enough to this country, shouldn’t receive any benefits of our services for free. The migrants should also have no criminal record.
