Platforms to provide free opt-out option for targeted ads on social media

We believe UK users should be able to opt out of personalised ads on social media sites without paying. In our view the “consent or pay” model pressures users and undermines GDPR rights. We urge the Government to require platforms to provide a free, genuine opt-out from targeted advertising.
