Fund therapeutic support service for women with suspected or late-diagnosed ADHD
We call on the UK Government to fund a nationwide therapeutic support service for women with suspected or late-diagnosed ADHD. It should offer trauma-informed care for RSD, emotional masking, and the impact of delayed diagnosis—tailored to women’s lived experience.

Background
ADHD in women is underdiagnosed and misunderstood, often missed until adulthood. Many struggle for years with emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, and RSD, without support. Gendered expectations, masking, and lack of trauma-informed care worsen outcomes. We urge the government to fund a nationwide, inclusive therapeutic service for women with ADHD—designed with lived experience and focused on healing, identity, and wellbeing.
