Fund an official register of disability status to prove eligibility for rights
Please establish a government-managed register, or similar official scheme, to help ensure disabled people can more easily demonstrate their eligibility for the rights, reasonable adjustments, and protections provided under the Equality Act, reducing unnecessary barriers and promoting equal access.

Background
There is no official government register for disabled people. Some employers ask whether a person is "registered as disabled", even though no such register exists. We believe this can create confusion and make it harder for people, particularly those with non-visible disabilities, to access reasonable adjustments and exercise their rights under the Equality Act 2010.
