Protect and reform SEND and EHCP funding fairly — support real needs
Protect SEND and EHCP funding for children with genuine needs. Make sure support matches each child not just behaviour or diagnosis and make homeschooling easier and better supported to reduce costs and improve outcomes.

Background
Children with SEND need support based on real needs, not just diagnoses or behaviour. Cutting EHCPs or misusing placements harms wellbeing and learning. Children who cope academically but need help emotionally, socially, or physically should keep their placement. Making homeschooling easier and providing fair, targeted support saves money, helps families, and ensures every child can access the education they truly need
