Under the Equality Act 2010, all religions including Christianity, Judaism, Sikhism, Hinduism, Islam, and others are protected equally as “religion or belief.”

Background
Only Islamophobia has an official definition, leaving other faiths unprotected. This creates bias, weakens equality, and risks inconsistent safeguarding. Parliament should establish definitions for all faith prejudices with the same strength as Islamophobia, ensuring fair treatment, legal clarity, accountability, and equal protection.
