Want healthcare providers to listen to parents and take our concerns seriously.
Specifically, we are asking you to: 1. Acknowledge parental instincts as valid input in medical decisions. 2. Implement protocols to act promptly when a parent reports something is wrong with their child. 3. Ensure timely treatment so no baby suffers due to delayed care.

Background
Every mother knows her child best. Our instincts are powerful and rooted in love, care, and constant observation. Yet too often, those instincts are dismissed leaving babies without the care they need.
HG’s story is one of many. Despite raising concerns and noticing that something was wrong, the doctors dismissed our warnings. The treatment he needed was delayed, putting his health and his life at risk. No parent should have to fight so hard to be heard when it comes to their child’s well-being.
