Do not require tech manufacturers to detect nudity content on devices
Do not require tech manufacturers to scan content taken or viewed by users for 'nudity'. The government announced in June that if companies don’t take steps within 3 months to prevent children seeing nude content online, it will bring forward legislation to force them to activate the technology.

Background
The software does not know which photo contains nudity unless it has already scanned it. We believe the privacy implications of this are enormous and having age verification to disable it is even worse for privacy. The responsibility for stopping children seeing nudity online should be with platforms that host content instead.
